    How to convert midi to RTTTL ringtone? (1)

    Many ringtone converter software can help us convert midi to key press ringtone for our mobile phone. Now I'll explain how to convert midi to ringtones with Coding Workshop Ringtone Converter. The following introduction is to tell you how to convert a christmas midi (winter-wonderland.mid) to ringtone for Motorola V70.

  • Start Coding Workshop Ringtone Converter.

  • Choose 'File > midi file import' from the menu.

  • Select a midi file, click 'Continue'

    select a midi file

  • Now you will see 16 channels, from which we select an active one to convert.

    Click 'Start playback', the active channels will be highlighted. Click 'Select highlighted' buttone to tick highlighted only. Sometimes there are more than one active channels. But we can only convert one channel to ringtone and other channels are ignored. Therefore, make sure that only channel is ticked and then click 'Continue' button.
